Our Christmas Story
It's December once again -- Christmas time! December is a very memorable month for me, Matt came into our lives 12 years ago. Five days before Christmas, I gave birth to my first child. On top of the excitement of seeing him for the first time, I was very anxious that I might not be able to cuddle him right away because he's scheduled to be transferred immediately to another hospital. It has already been planned a few weeks before I gave birth, a team of doctors will be waiting for him at PGH for his very first major surgery. My husband had to go through the ordeal without me and I had to recover fast from my CS (at Perpetual Hospital Las Pinas) so I can be with them as soon as possible. + More

Three stories of God's miracles

Optimal Academy formerly D' Center Optimal Group Inc. is where our son Matt studies.
It is an elementary school for exceptional children. The school believes that children
have their own cups that need to be filled individually and holistically in a nurturing
environment. They aim to make a difference in the life of every child. All children are
duly afforded the same opportunity for education, regardless of any disability they may
have. Each student grows and learns in an atmosphere of dignity, trust and love.
Last Saturday, March 24, the school held it's 1st Commencement Exercise and Matt was
one of the graduating students along with his classmates Kyle Benauro and Thea Bataller.

Teacher-Mom's Day

Teacher's Day, October 5, 2011. My son came home from school and gave me a personalized card. A Teacher's day card for Mommy! Instead of making cards for his teachers in school, he insisted that he wanted to make one for me because I'm his number one teacher. What a sweet boy!..
Yes, I am his teacher-mom at home ever since he entered Preschool. I exactly know how to deal with him. Click na click kami :) There are times we fight but most of the time he's very
obedient. He finishes all his home works even if he's already tired. He's indeed a good example to his sister.
To show appreciation for Matt's teachers, I baked some cupcakes for them. They had a post teacher's day celebration last October 7. + see more...
